In 2008, the Destination Labrador Trapline Marathon raised in excess of $700 for the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

In 2009, the Trappers' Running Club (TRC) adopted the Terry Fox Foundation as its official charity. At all TRC events there will be an opportunity to make a voluntary donation to the Marathon of Hope!
