I was pleased to have been part of the inaugural event and look forward to coming back next year. You guys have definitely have done things right and I think that should bode well for future events. Keep up the good work and see you next year.

Congratulations to the Trapline Marathon! This was their first year and was one of the best events I have ever participated in! I would highly recommend taking the trip to Labrador just to see the beautiful scenery and meeting the fantastic people. Make it a goal race and your weekend is set.

The Trapline races are the newest and most exciting events in the Province for runners. From top to bottom, start to finish, it is a class-act. I would have to say it is a must-do for anyone seeking well-organized, community-supported running events with all the bells and whistles (and then some). Not only is it the best deal, and a beautiful course, but is likely the most fun. Fantastic pasta supper the night previous, tons of support at every turn (almost literally!), and at the end there was a traditional trapline tent kind of set-up with a knock-you-down, drag you out screaming trad-grub cook-up: salmon, arctic char, fish and brewis, caribou stew, flummies, plus fruit, juices, coffee, etc. etc. Would love to see a big contingent go for next year - the hospitality was out of this world.

This "Trapline Marathon" is the closest most of us will ever come to reliving the "trials and challenges" of those hearty individuals who first endured and survived in Labrador. From a retired and respected elder firing off a 12 gauge single barrel to (start us all off) to the peace and solitude of the route. To finally conclude the festivities as trappers of long ago when greeted home by their family and friends after making their trek, it was all wonderful.

It normally takes years to build a flawless event. The Trapline Marathon was a flawless experience in its 1st edition! Congratulations on an extremely well prepared event and can't wait to come back next year and discover more of Labrador!

"Running Full Tilt" was impressive in many ways: the organization, the course, the people, the location and so on! Such a professional event like this in Labrador just makes me think that I want to go again next year. Congratulations everyone!

I just wanted to write to say thank you to the Trappers Running Club for putting off a great event, and for the lovely prize I won. The artwork is beautiful. I also appreciate it more knowing that the funds raised are supporting a good cause.
