Biggest Victoria Day Run to Date for TRC!
Posted 20 May 2010, 11:10 pm ADT
121 Registered for the Victoria Day Run on Monday. This will be our biggest Victoria Day Run to date. The weather is looking promising at the moment! We thank everyone for pre-registering and apologize to those that were unable to make it. With the larger numbers we will likely be doing pre-registration now regularly.

Breakdown as follows:
81 women 40 men
83 adult 28 youth
49 7 km
53 5 km
19 3 km

On Monday there will be a trial run of computer timing program Zone 4 - we hope to post results on facebook/website asap but suggest everyone check the race clock at the finish line for their own time just in case.

At the finish line it is important that bib numbers get recorded in the order of finish, there will be a chute, please do not exit chute until your bib number has been recorded.

Route is up the bike path with turnaround near Mealy Mtn school for 3 km, near bench at top of hill for 5 km and at Kelland Dr for 7 km. There are pylons and a painted turnaround arrow at each of the turnarounds to show you where to turn to run back.

The finish line is at Town Hall. Given the large turnout and the relatively narrow bike path, please be careful passing other runners and at the turnaround - you may have to step off the paved area to get around others. There will be refreshments at the finish - enjoy your full tilt run, have fun and we'll see you Monday Morning between 8:30 and 9:00 for a 9:00 am sharp start time!
