Ottawa Marathon Participation

Diane Houlahan getting her picture took with John Stanton and extending yet another invitation to attend the Trapline Marathon!

Three Trappers' Running Club members ran the Ottawa Marathon today.
Jamie Snook (3:50:37), John Houlahan (3:51:17), and Diane Houlahan (4:33:04).
Jamie finished full tilt and in the middle of the pack both overall and in his age category, Diane finished 16th in her category and John finished with a great Boston qualifying time. John and Diane are both now qualified for the Boston Marathon.
There was also a long list of other Newfoundland and Labrador runners. Elaine Burkholder who recently ran the Trapline Marathon also finished and was all smiles in the recovery area with a time of 4:02:04. 2010 Trapline Marathon participant Craig Nagels also done great at 4:15:13! He now has some great training in for October!
The night before the event, Diane joined the group of trappers' trying to convince John Stanton to make his way to the Trapline Marathon. He said he would "sometime" and Diane quickly replied "never mind sometime"!
