About 50 people this morning left the Military Police station at 5 Wing Goose Bay and ran to the Happy Valley RCMP detachment. It was a beautiful morning to run, walk or bike 8.5 km for the Special Olympics.

The Special Olympian Athletes joined in with everyone at the Fire Hall in Happy Valley and a BBQ followed at the RCMP Detachment after the run!

Congratulations to Cara Ludtke and all the other volunteers that made the event possible. Well done!
