Pierre Rousseau and Corenia Price win Trapline Marathon 2009!

Pierre Rousseau from Knowlton, Quebec wins the Destination Labrador Trapline Marathon 2009 with a course record time of 3:01:58! He was followed by two friends from Athletics North East Running Club Pete Soucy (3:09:17) and Tony Poole (3:18:21).
Corenia Price from Happy Valley - Goose Bay won the women division with a time of 3:41:30! She was followed in by Natalie Hughes (4:04:25) from St. Anthony and Joyce Law (4:07:11) from Saint John, New Brunswick!
Athletics North East were well represented today when Bill Collins won the Half Marathon in a time of 1:30:26. He was followed in by Rick Kennedy (1:32:28) and Gerard Fleet (1:42:37).
The top three women in the Half Marathon were Hilary Baikie (1:35:10) from the home town community of North West River, Elizabeth Rose (1:46:25) and Elaine Burkholder (1:48:19).
The 10k winners in the mens division are Sunil Pradhan (41:11), Vernon Broomfield (43:30) and James Goodridge (44:03). The top three women were Cathy Jong (49:58) from the Trappers' Running Club, Marylou Harris (51:44) from Nain and Donnie Sampson (52:18).
