Marathon Update!

Today organizers of the Trapline Marathon met and the following information is noteworthy:
1. Walkers are welcome in the 10k event! In fact Trappers were actually known to walk the trap line!
2. The Early Bird Registration deadline has been moved to September 30, 2008!
3. Course certification is well underway and scheduled to be completed on time.
4. Medals and t-shirts are approved!
5. The Trapline Marathon official charity will be the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life! The Trappers Running Club plan to enter a team and donate the funds in the 2009 Happy Valley - Goose Bay Relay for Life.
