The full marathon leaves Lester Burry Memorial Park in North West River and ends in Happy Valley - Goose Bay at Kinsmen Park; following route 520 from start to finish, using the right hand side of the road.
This route is 61.5% flat, 18.4% ascending with a highest point of 68 meters above sea level and 20.1% descending. Runners would be treated to plateau views between Spruce Park and the Canadian Side, Gosling Lake, Mount Shana, the Goose River and a nicely wooded highway.

The purpose of this page is to give you a feel for the trapline route. We hope that it helps you visualize the course and will be helpful as you prepare to run 42.2 kilometers up the trapline from North West River to Happy Valley - Goose Bay!
