Rick Mehta from Wolfville, Nova Scotia is a 2009 Trapline Marathoner! (larger version)
Rick started running in 2001 and became hooked when he participated in a 5k race. From there, he progressed to doing his first half marathon in 2002 and first marathon in 2003.

The Manitoba Marathon marked the end of the Winnipeg chapter of his life and he transitioned to a new stage by moving to Wolfville, NS, to start a job in the Psychology Department at Acadia University.

After moving to the Maritimes, he decided to start that chapter of life by doing a marathon in Saint John, NB. When completed, he became inspired to do a marathon in every province. This goal has allowed him to combine a love of running with a love of traveling. Rick explains, "I have found that it's been a great way to see Canada and meet a lot of wonderful people."
