Trapper with 2009 Finishers Medal!

Medals
All finishers will receive a medal as seen in the picture to your right. Each medal is hand crafted by local artisan Emily Best.
The medal is shaped like a snow shoe because it is an important peice of equipment for the historic trappers. Emily has incorporated some red berries as well. At approximately 35 km, runners will pass by the military base and what was known as Robert Michelin's red berry patch prior to the military construction in 1941.
Race Kits
The first 200 registered participants will receive a race kit in the form of a runners' drawstring backpack. All race kits will include a bib, your running chip and a nice quality runners cap.
The marathon runners will also receive a technical shirt.
Prizes
There are special prizes for the men and women winners of each of the three events and random draw prizes from everyone at the banquet.
